Signature presets from the industry's top engineers I've literally had to manually find and relink every single individual file 'candidate' before.Vintage Tube Compressor/Limiter Model 670 ![]() And if I try to point it to that folder, it still doesn't 'see' them. That said however, I get a different ridiculous problem with PT and half the time that I try to open an AAF/OMF (embedded or otherwise) it "can't find" any of the audio files, even though they're all sitting right there, in a folder. It's been a long time since I tried importing an OMF with Logic but I know people say it doesn't play well. If you're a business, sure, it's no biggie- and I know that's the target demographic- but it kinda sucks if you're just an individual.Īnd yeah, the fact that Logic comes equipped with basically everything you need, most of which comes in the form of a high quality and extremely useable plugin, makes it very easy to love. PT standard is fine for the most part, but the fact that you should have to pay for HD for certain extra features which really should be standardised gets my goat. the biggest gripe I have with Pro Tools is that to have a reasonable, standardised post workflow, you'd basically need to splash out on PT HD, shit tons of expensive plugins, and probably hardware to boot. r/FilmMakers /r/VideoProduction /r/Videography /r/VideoEngineering /r/Editors /r/DocProduction /r/Freelance /r/ProduceMyScript r/GameAudio /r/LocationSound /r/RateMyAudio /r/ProTools /r/Music /r/StudioPorn /r/SFXLibraries /r/SoundEffectSwap Use the comments section of the AudioPost Mine feature post at the top of the subreddit to link or tell us about things which you are affiliated withĬheck out the AudioPost wiki Related SubReddits
